1. Scope of Services

FWT Energy provides energy solutions, including product installation and maintenance services. Our offerings are focused on providing sustainable energy solutions tailored to your needs. All details of the service are outlined in your individual contract.

2. Quotation and Pricing

All quotations provided by FWT Energy are valid for a period of 30 days from the date issued, unless otherwise specified. Our pricing includes the cost of products, installation, and any applicable VAT.

• Changes in Scope: Any changes to the agreed-upon scope of work may result in additional charges.
• Deposit: A 25% deposit is required to secure your order. This deposit is refundable within the 14-day cooling-off period, provided that installation work has not commenced.

3. 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

Customers have the right to a 14-day cooling-off period, starting from the date the contract is signed. During this period:

• Cancellation and Refund: You may cancel the contract and request a full refund of your deposit if no installation work has started.
• Waiving of Cooling-Off Period: If you request an express start of work within this period, you waive the right to cancel and receive a refund on the deposit.

This cooling-off period provides flexibility for customers to reconsider their decision without penalty if no work has begun.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due in two stages:

• Initial Deposit: A 25% deposit is due upon signing the contract.
• Remaining Balance: The remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of the installation.

If payment is not received by the due date, FWT Energy reserves the right to charge interest at the rate of 2% per month on the outstanding balance.

5. Installation and Site Requirements

FWT Energy is committed to completing installations professionally and efficiently. However, the customer is responsible for ensuring that the installation site is accessible and that all required permissions and clearances have been obtained.

• Structural and Planning Compliance: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all planning and structural regulations. FWT Energy is not liable for delays or additional costs incurred due to non-compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Green Deal Assessments: If green deal assessments or other regulatory requirements are needed, the customer must arrange and complete these before installation.

6. No Returns on Installed Products

Due to the nature of our services, all installations are considered final sales. Once a product has been installed, it is non-returnable.

• Exceptions: Returns may only be accepted if a product is found to be defective within the warranty period.

7. Warranty and Defective Products

All products installed by FWT Energy come with a limited warranty. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

• Warranty Coverage: If a product or component is found to be defective, FWT Energy will, at its discretion, repair or replace it at no additional cost.
• Warranty Exclusions: Our warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper use, unauthorized modifications, or third-party interventions. Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are used as intended.

8. Maintenance Services

FWT Energy offers a maintenance package to ensure the long-term performance of your installed products. The maintenance package includes regular check-ups, minor repairs, and adjustments.

• Non-Covered Maintenance: If the customer does not subscribe to the maintenance package, any post-installation repairs or adjustments are the customer’s responsibility.
• Optional Maintenance Package: We highly recommend enrolling in our maintenance program to help prevent future issues not covered under our standard warranty.

9. Liability Limitation

FWT Energy strives to provide high-quality services but cannot be held liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the installation or use of our products.
• Delays or damages resulting from unforeseen circumstances, such as adverse weather conditions, supply chain disruptions, or regulatory delays.
• Issues arising from customer-provided information that is inaccurate or incomplete.

Our liability for any claim is limited to the value of the contract, except in cases where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, including logos, designs, text, and images, is the intellectual property of FWT Energy. Customers may not reproduce, distribute, or use our intellectual property without our express written consent.

11. Privacy Policy

12. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from this agreement will be subject to the jurisdiction of UK courts.

13. Changes to Terms and Conditions

FWT Energy reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to customers, and continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
